The problem

Mankind has been using the conventional sources of energy since prehistoric times. Such mass usage for such a long time has led to alarmingly low levels of conventional sources of energy. However in the present world the availability of heat and electricity forms an essential ingredient of a living society. The increased demands for these have consequently led to environmental pollution, global warming and depletion of the earth's protective ozone layer. To keep this world beautiful and green or our future generations we must address alternate sources of energy for our usage.

Today the per capita energy consumption has become a criterion for gauging the economic development of a country. The need of energy is at an all time high due to technological revolution across the globe. This has translated into a serious need to generate additional energy to bridge the supply demand gap. This calls for technologies that will provide economic solutions to tackle the current scenario. These solutions must be eco friendly and have a minimal gestation period from conceptualisation to realization as a prerequisite.
